Crossing cultures

CROSSING CULTURES TOUR is a project run by Saucy in which different musicians, visual artists and creatives are collaborating and connected, in order to build an international creative hub. Crossing Cultures stands for  progress, innovation, development, the search for new creativity in music, art and other fields , but especially new creatives to connect with regardless of where they are located.

We say music and art, because in this day and age, the two go hand in hand. We are working on building an international community that rises above borders.

By organizing and curating offline events, Saucy gives artists a platform, network and the ability to grow and learn.

One of the tools, is the international tour called Crossing Cultures. It’s immersive tour where young, promising and especially unapologetic artists get a platform in their city but also in the rest of the world.

Artists from Amsterdam have a hard time showcasing their craft abroad even though it’s similar to the scene in other countries. This scene and culture is of high quality and should be celebrated internationally, but also collectively. Whether you’re in New York, Berlin of Paris, the local scenes often listen to the same music, wear the same clothes, see the same memes, hypes and talk the same way. We just don’t see each other.

By crossing and connecting cultures, we believe that the authentic sound of Amsterdam can be exposed abroad, but also make it possible to connect with local artists and bring them Europe. In New York City, we have discovered many artists who deserve to be exposed not only in Amsterdam, but also in other big European cities.
